uZu
Mukavasti näyttäisi jäävän valkoista viivojen väliin. ;D
topcat
203hp and 206lbft looks pretty good for just a 17%, what else have you done?
Khato
Just changed NGK Iridium plugs. And it had 181hp as stock, so maby its just a strong engine? If I remember correctly, the stock engine had about 145-150 whp. I had bit more than that with only iridium plugs changed. It seems to be about 155whp? After the tune 180+whp. topcat
definitely - so presumably now you need a bigger intercooler, then a free flow manifold, then a new cam with bigger injectors and re-tune. Should reach 250 engine hp with that on a good base engine...
Khato
Sounds fun, but is it really worth it all... makes me wonder :) This power is quite enough for me (atleast for now :P)
topcat
It's enough power to trip the DSC and create emissions-fault codes in your ECU (if you go full throttle on a cold day), but at least the MINI guys in England will tell you that you need to run a bigger intercooler. Your charger will be spinning harder, compressing more air, and creating a lot more heat. I've got a GRS-M fitted if you want to come and have a look at it - if you're in Helsinki one day. But that's all I've done. Manifold next. The other thing to do is get hold of a Scanguage or other OBD2 reader and use it to watch intake air temperatures, so you know when you really have to slow down. Khato
Yes. I need bigger IC if I use high revs more often. With this usage normal IC has still been good enough. Dont know how it goes when temps go bit up tough. Where did you get that GSR and how much was it? I was thinking about gettin one of those or GP... topcat
Ask Graham at GRS - see http://www.grsmotorsport.co.uk/ £400 for the base version, £425 for the Motorsport version, including the under bonnet diverters. Easy to install yourself, but best to get new rubber snoot boots /rubber couplers from BMW MINI.
